Meet Joel Rotta, the San Francisco-born yacht broker with 35 years of industry expertise, specializing in sportfish boats. Inspired during a Latin Builders Association tournament fishing trip, Joel joined Rick Obey Yacht Sales five years ago.

Joel’s standout qualities lie in his industry knowledge and sharp negotiating skills. Outside of yachts, he’s a Brazilian jiu-jitsu enthusiast holding a 2 stripe brown belt in 11 years of training. Another interesting fact about him is that he played semi-pro basketball with Utah State against the Brazilian Olympic team in the early 80s.
