Rosebud has been a member of this family since she was new and she''s been professionally maintained and upgraded throughout her ownership.
She''s equipped with the Volvo 2 Cylinder Diesel which is known for it''s smooth running and paired with a Sail Drive, is the preferred propulsion for the Alerion 28. She had her raw water cooling system upgraded to improve flow and in 12 years the new system has never had an issue. Originally, the boats were only equipped with a Porta Potty and Rosebud was professionally upgraded to a real Marine Head and Holding Tank.

Rosebud is a very clean example of Gary Hoyt and Carl Schumacher''s vision of what a modern day sailor should be. The Alerion 28 is elegant sailing simplicity and is always the prettiest sailboat in the harbor. Rosebud was also lightly raced and she always did quite well.
She''s in excellent condition, in the water and would be a great addition to any family!
